Cookie policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your settings. Analytics cookies are optional — you can reject them from the banner with no impact on the service.

01What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. They let websites remember things between page loads — for example, that you are logged in or that you’ve already dismissed a notice.

02Categories we use

We use two categories of cookies:

  • Essential cookies.Required for the service to work — for example, your authenticated session, CSRF protection, your cookie-banner choice. These cannot be turned off because the site would not function without them.
  • Analytics cookies (optional). Help us understand which pages are useful, which break, and how to improve the marketing site. These are aggregated, never used for ad targeting, and you can decline them via the cookie banner.

03The specific cookies we set

  • shilder.cookie-consent.v1 — remembers your choice on the cookie banner. Essential. One-year lifespan.
  • sb-* — authentication session cookies set by our hosting provider (Supabase) once you sign in. Essential. Session-based.
  • Analytics cookies set by our analytics provider when you accept analytics. Aggregate behavioral data only — no IP storage, no cross-site tracking.

04Controlling cookies

You can:

  • Use the cookie banner to accept or reject optional cookies on your first visit.
  • Clear cookies in your browser settings. This will sign you out and reset your banner choice.
  • Configure your browser to block third-party cookies entirely — the site will still work, but optional features may degrade.

To change your analytics consent later, clear the shilder.cookie-consent.v1 cookie and reload — the banner will reappear.

05Changes

If we add or remove cookies, we update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
